Can data come from any EHR to migrate to ChartPerfect?

ChartPerfect can assist with the conversion from any EHR to ChartPerfect. Most modern systems use standard data formats including; CSV, XML and PDF. We can also work with raw data like Excel, Word and SQL data formats. Our data migration experts can evaluate your data to devise a migration strategy that will meet your needs.

What are common modules of data to migrate to ChartPerfect?

The most common data modules that practices import include; Patient Demographics, Appointment History, Insurance Details, Payer List, Provider List, Scanned Documents, Clinical notes in PDF or Word, EHR histories like Vitals, Medications, Allergies, ICDs, and Histories

Who is responsible for obtaining the data from my existing vendor?

Most modern EHRs have teams and tools to assist you with data extraction for migration. You should work with your existing vendor to receive your data. We can also work with a technician from your existing EHR to assist them as needed. If you do not have a modern system or a support agreement with your existing EHR, we can take a look at the data with you to determine if the data can be extracted.

What are my options to extract data?

Data extraction from your existing system varies based on the vendor. Some vendors provide practices with the option to export data from within the application itself. These are typically available as reports that can be downloaded or extracted in a CSV or Excel format. In some situations, practices will have to request data assistance from their vendor. ChartPerfect has decades of experience with assisting practices with data migration from other EHR systems, and can provide guidance in most cases.

What types of files can we accept data in?

We can work with all modern data file formats. Some standard formats are; CSV, TAB, XML, PDF, JPG, TIF, PNG, Excel, Word, and SQL. CCD files also come in as XML.
